The Human League returns with a landmark co-headlining run

The synth-pop pioneers who redefined the 1980s are returning. Led by Philip Oakey, the group remains the gold standard for electronic pop, blending avant-garde roots with massive global hooks.

The Generations Tour 2026-2027 brings together The Human League, Soft Cell, and Alison Moyet for a landmark co-headlining run. This The Human League tour is their first major North American trek in fifteen years, celebrating decades of innovation.

The journey begins June 2, 2026. The tour travels across the US and Canada, visiting Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Boston, and Philadelphia. This run is a career-spanning celebration of their legacy.

Separately, they perform at the Now Now Festival in May and Rewind South 2026 in August.

About The Human League

The Human League are an English synth-pop/new wave band formed in Sheffield in 1977. They’re known for Philip Oakey’s baritone vocals counterpointed by Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley, mixing electronic with pop hooks. Iconic tracks include “Don’t You Want Me,” “Human,” “Love Action (I Believe in Love),” “Mirror Man.” Their latest studio album of new material is 2011’s Credo. Their achievements include 1982’s Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act and multiple UK#1s and US chart-toppers. They’re well known for defining 80s synth-pop and retaining a classic live presence into the 2020s.
